SH-3640 is an extremely underrated banana that was developed from the FHIA program in Honduras.
This is the best performing banana that we grow in Florida for sweet and fluffy dessert bananas similar to the Chiquita bananas at the grocery store. Remember that properly ripened, home-grown bananas (as with many fruits) will eclipse the imported and gassed fruits that you are used to buying.
The plants are semi-dwarf and grow very stout to about 12 feet tall. They can hold heavy racks of fruit up to 70lbs when given the proper care and condition.
Our plants are sanitized and macro-propagated on site from out own mother plants. We make every effort to provide clean and healthy planting material for our fellow growers.
